Faith Formation

Mission Statement

We, the Faith Formation team of St. Mary and St. John Parish Communities, unite in partnership with parents as they guide their children in the process of becoming faith-filled, loving Catholic Christians. Assisted by the Spirit of Jesus, we provide information about the Catholic faith, formation in the Gospel way of life, and prayer experiences that invite spiritual transformation. We believe that the presence of Jesus makes the ministry of Faith Formation effective, so that young people may respond to the message through growth in faith, worship and Christian service.

Fun Stuff

We rely solely on volunteers to help teach and spread the Gospel message of Jesus.  Please prayerfully consider being a catechist, room aid, hall monitor, special events helper, etc.

"Being a catechist is a wonderful way to share my faith with young people and it helps me to continue to learn and grow in my own faith."
-Joanne
